Prepping for Region
The Girlzies head to Region Competition this Saturday, and they've been preparing hard for it. To help motivate them, one of the fun things I get to do is locker decorations. They turned out so cute. I found a Tahitian dictionary online and found a few Tahitian words to help "inspire" the Girlzies.
MOEOROU = to be possessed of a strong desire after some good.
FETUARURU = a war term, implying to act with union and strength.
NANUNANU = (my favorite) the substance in the nose of an infant. I used this one like, "If you get fear from competition, think of them as nanunanu and you fear no more!"

Girlzies 2nd Competition - Murray HS
Wow, what a difficult day for us spectators. 12 hours sitting and watching a bazillion drill teams show their routines. But it's all worth it. LOVE watching our Girlzies. And they did a great job!

Freshman B-Ball vs. Ben Lomond
It felt good to win this game. This is actually Highland Junior High that traveled with the HS team because Freshmen don't attend High School in Weber County. We started out strong, lost our lead by half time. BUT KICKED BUTT in the 2nd half. Good job, boys!!!
This shot was crazy. Garet noticed the kid attempting to block it, so he launched it sky high and the sucker went in!!! YAY!!! We were all so excited!!
Love the boys gathered around Coach Preece!
Good game, boys!!! Fun to see you play tonight!!!
