Soccer's Started

BUT before the games can be played, the fields have to painted, the goals have to be put in place, the nets have to be organized, and the list goes on. Jeff's been the field coordinator for years now...that means he's the lucky one that gets to do all that. He has really fine-tuned the job, compared to the first year we did it. That was horrific!

Garet's a GREAT kid & loves to help!

And Garet doesn't mind moving the heavy goals either...with the help of Karlee's 4-wheeler of course.

...Now we can play soccer!!! (Garet is blue #2)

Girlzies

Here are some pix of the darling girlzies I had the pleasure of taxiing last night. They are all bestest of friends, and have planned a mega-sleep-over for the entire Spring Break. (I almost got stuck with them at our home last night, but instead pawned them off on Marty! Thanks, Marty, I owe ya!)

They really are a bunch of good girls, so kind & respectful, and lots of fun to be around! From LtoR: Ayana, Karlee, Morgan, Mikaela, Tori, & Megan

Happy Birthday, Jeff!

Thank you so much for being such an awesome husband & Daddy. We all love you so very much!!!

Karlee snuggling on Daddy's lap.

We really didn't do a whole lot, but planned to meet Gway & Pa at Prairie Schooner for dinner. We were early, so we walked across the street to check out the flooding Ogden River. Note how the cement path is covered with water.

We walked across the bridge to take a closer look.

Trying to take a few pix of the Birthday Boy but having a hard time because of the idiot dancing around in the background!! Oh how I love that idiot that dances around in the backgound, foreground, sideground whenever I'm trying to take pix!!! (Jeff is not smiling because he know there's an idiot behind him...)

Gway & Pa came to look at the river too.

Having dinner in our very own Schooner.

"Watch out for that bear!!!"

Karlee Is A 2011-2012 Troyette!

Try-outs for the 2011-2012 Troyettes were tonight! AND NO ONE is guaranteed a spot on the team. You have to perform the dance that includes 8 counts of your own, 48 counts of military arms, kick line, splits, and straddle splits. Karlee hurt her back a few weeks back, and we've been worried that it would hurt her try-outs!

The Seniors pretty much run the try-outs. We never see Natalie or the judges, they stay in the gym and so the Seniors are the messengers and escorts for the girls as they try-out. The girls are numbered according to height and go in 3 at a time. Then there's call-backs! 4 hours of pure stress!

Besties!

Massage train

Sophomores...need I say more?

Morgan?, Morgan, & Karlee (Love that they're hand-in-hand) as the Seniors escort them to the gym for their tryout session. HOLY STRESS!!!!

Sohpomores

See what happens when these girlzies get too close for too long?

The girlzies at the top of the hallway waiting for the Seniors to bring the letters. Each girl receives a letter that they cannot open on school property. The letter states whether they have made the drill team or not. From LtoR: Ayana, Amanda, Megan, Kelli, Karlee, & Mikaela

The Seniors - with the letters in hand...

Karlie Rupe giving Karlee her letter. Karlie then said, "Have fun opening your letter that says you made it!!!" We do love Karlie & will miss her so VERY much!

Karlee with the awesome Seniors that we have LOVED this year. We'll miss you, girlzies! From LtoR: Karlee, Karlie Rupe, Chrissy Pace, Nikki Green, & Kylie Hoopes.

SHE MADE IT!!!!! (Just like Karlie said!!!) YAY!!!!!

Choir Concert 2011

How fun - to get on a one of two buses of 49 choir kids on each bus enroute to San Francisco, but we really did have a great time!!!

Although, Donner's Pass was painful! 3 hours to cover 30 miles! Ugh! We thought it would NEVER end!

Awaiting the ferry to Alcatraz - our 1st stop! These are 4 of the girls I was was lucky enough to chaperone! Bre, Karlee, Amanda, & Ayana.
