Beautiful Girlzies

So, the Girlzies were coming over to do important drill team stuff because they're important drill team officers now!!!  Anyways, I begged them to let me take their pix!  AREN'T THEY THE MOST GORGEOUS GIRLS YOU'VE EVER SEEN!?!?!  I love these silly Ladies and am so grateful they allow me to take their pix!  Thanks, Girlzies!

I always make them snuggle together so I can get pix of their beautiful faces!  I'm a sucker for the close-ups!  And you can see why:

When we came in and looked at the pix I decided I wanted some candid shots so I hauled them back outside!  They were all really awkward and didn't know what to do.  I said, "Karlee look at Morgan."  Then the craziness started and I got some cute pix!  I love these ladies!

Weekend of B-Ball

Here are a couple of shots (from more than 500 - seriously) that I took of Garet playing in the b-ball tourney this weekend.  It was fun to be watching ball again, although killer because our little 3A team went up against some mega 5A teams.  We did OK, I was proud of em!  And Garet made some awesome shots too!!

The girl's choice Last Chance Dance was tonight.  The theme was "What a Wonderful World".  For some unknown reason the Girlzies decided to dress as zombies.  Well... dunno how wonderful the world would be filled with zombies, BUT if it's anything like it was with these kids, then it would be awesome!

These are a buncha GREAT kids!  I LOVED being with them & taking their pix - which were taken in Morgue's back yard river.  They had dinner at Morgue's then headed to the dance.  We were lucky enough to have them end up at our home for ice cream sundaes and a scary movie!

Funny story:  Karlee had to have Taylor home by midnight, so they took off about 11:30 - it takes about 25 min to get to Taylor's home.  About 12:55 I notice a text from Taylor asking me if Karlee made it home OK.  Well... NO!  She wasn't home yet!  I started freaking out because Taylor said she left his home about midnight.  But I still had a buncha kids here that were just getting ready to go home... anyways, we all walk out and notice Karlee's car is in the driveway.  She is asleep inside - we're guessing she'd been home for about a half hour asleep in her car!  The stinking sleepy-head!!!  Scared me to death.  In the mean time, Taylor's texting me asking if he needs to go looking for her... AND the kids are all rocking her car and pounding on her windows trying to wake her up!!  I'm pretty sure she was WAY embarrassed when they startled her awake!!!

Tay Tay said YES!

So... Sunday was Taylor's brother Jared's Homecoming.  Jared is a super great kid that just returned from serving 2 years in Puerto Rico.  While we were there, Karlee left an alarm clock with Taylor's parents to leave under his bed.  It was set to go off at 2am with this note attached to it asking him to the Last Chance Dance. 

Well... he answered Karlee tonight with the help of his brother Jared and our dear Meg!  (Mind you, Meg was at the baseball game with Karlee when all of a sudden she had to leave because she was "bored"... NOT!  She had to come help Taylor answer Karlee!)

The kitten loved the balloons!

She had to pop the balloons to find his answer.  And popping balloons is NOT her favorite thing to do.

After she popped them all, there was no note to be found.  It seems the special balloon escaped down the stairs... which she found with a YES inside it!!!  YAY!!!  The dance is May 11th... AND I get to take the pix!!!  Double YAY!!!

 

P.S.  "Tay Tay" is Garet's nickname for Taylor.  And the funny thing is now Taylor's whole family knows and is calling him Tay Tay too... Hahahaha!

 

P.P.S. Did I mention that Taylor is Mark and Lisa's son??? As in Mark - Jeff's best man!  Super neat family and super neat kids!
