Homecoming Dance 2012

This is Karlee & Colton when Colt came to pick her up for their day-date.  Today they are tributes from District 9 in the Hunger Games.  Little did we know at this point, but these two were the CHAMPIONS!  Their Hunger Games started out at Ms. Ferrin's home (a teacher from the High School) with station #1 being a math problem.  Karlee had it solved in less than 2 minutes and they took off to the next station.  It was a rather hard problem - when they returned back at the end of their course, one couple was just leaving, having just solved the problem.

I grabbed a few pix of my gorgeous girl as we were waiting for Colt to arrive.

And he's here - looking mighty handsome, too!

Dinner @ Kade's home.

And Karlee had a blast!  Colton is a super good kid and a really crazy one too!  AND he also happens to be our Stake President's grandson!  I laughed a ton at that kid while taking their pix, and Karlee had an awesome time.  I am so grateful Karlee is blessed to date such an outstanding young man!

Happy Birthday Taylor!

We had a mini Birthday Party for Taylor today even tho his b-day was on the 10th!  He's 19 now and officially ready to head off to Brazil to serve and teach the gospel to the people there!  How grateful I am to have such an outstanding young man in our home!  We love you, Taylor, and hope you had a Happy Birthday!

Troyettes @ Football

It was an awesome night watching the Trojans whoop the Grantsville Cowboys!!  Good job boys!!  AND LOVE watching my Girlzies perform!!!

I decided I wanted a few more candid shot of the Girlzies tonight, so I snuck into their pregame practice!

The Girlzies marching onto the field to present the colors.  Karlee's right in the middle.

Saluting the flag during the National Anthem.

The Girlzies applauding the team onto the field.

My view via Marty's program!

Dancin Lantzen #8 had an amazing game!!!

Snagged a pic of the basket ball boys (including the "Super Senior" - Love you Garrett Kunz!) running the concessions tonight.  (Garet's in the right window in red)

Aiden

So... yes we went to Swiss Days.  And yes... the only thing I took pix of was Aiden!!!  But just take a look at how cute he is and you'll understand why!

Who needs a backpack when you have a t-shirt?

Good thing Garet brought his GoPro!

Ever seen a 4 year old sporting a GoPro?

AND you should see Aiden's video!!!  It's SO cute!

And she said YES!! (Kind of)

It was so fun helping Karlee answer Colton to the Homecoming Dance.  With the help of his darling Mom and his adorable Sis, we splattered his room with spots.  He has to read the back of every spot to find her answer.  BUT here's the funny thing... the answer is NOT on ANY spot.  Payback for keeping the last puzzle piece over night.

Anyways, this is what he found when he got home from the football game tonight:  About 250 Spots!

So... about 12:30 tonight we raced down to his home to sneak this final "spot" into his car.  His mom had told us his car is always unlocked.  PERFECT!!  Karlee taped the spot to his steering wheel.  It has a ginormous YES on the back side!  Who knows when he'll find it.  Tomorrow?  Sunday??
