Well, SHOOT!

Remember Uncle Brad gave Garet a .22 rifle for Christmas? Well, it was given with the condition that Garet would complete a Hunter Safety class. Jeff and Garet have been taking Hunter Safety classes for two weeks now. They both passed the written test last night. This afternoon they went to the indoor shooting range to prepare for their shooting test tomorrow morning. They both did really well, and had a lot of fun too.

Wow, Garet is a machine! He had such an awesome game today. He played so hard, made some amazing passes and assists, and made a ton of shots and free throws. It is so fun watching him play! Our boy is marroon #13.

I love Valentine's Day !

We are babysitting Sophie (I'll blog our Sophie pics later). I let her out to potty when I saw this cute box on the front porch addressed to me. :) Yay! Upon closer inspection, I noticed some ineresting inscriptions on the outside of the box. Read below:

Of course, it was in the house and opened within seconds. Since it was only me and the critters home, I felt I didn't need to hide behind any large furniture.

What I found inside was an amazing sight! And I know they're on my diet too! 12 chocolate covered strawberries! Now, that's true love!

Jeff loves Valentine's Day...any excuse to spend money on the one he loves. He he - OK, anyone who knows Jeff, knows that is a lie! He hates the made-up holiday of Valentine's Day. He says it's just a retail farce...any excuse to get people to spend money on the one they love. But, I love Valentine's Day because Jeff always spends money on the one he loves! Me! Yay!

The strawberries are delicious! You'll notice there aren't very many left!

Karlee's Valentine's Box

Think that once your kids enter Middle School or High School you're done helping your them make Valentine's boxes? Not if your daughter is on drill team! Sure, we stayed up late and made a big mess, but we also had lots of fun. Now she's ready to receive Valentines from her friends at drill tomorrow. :)

Tonight was the last home game of the season and Karlee found out one week ago that she would be dancing. The girls danced a Michael Jackson routine, and Karlee did fantastic, considering it's been 6 months since she's danced. These pictures aren't terribly exciting, but they are living proof that she actually danced! (Look in the right rear corner - that's our girl.)

It is weird to think that I have a 62 year old brother. Amazing, actually. Scary, also, because that means I'm getting older too. :( Love you, David. Happy Birthday!

B's Surprise 60th B-day Party!

Delicious food, divine cake, crazy neighbors, good friends and family, (and the Grim Reaper, of course, who came to escort B to hell) all together make for a great birthday party. Thanks, B, for turning 60 so we could have such fun! Oh, and Happy Birthday!
