Night Out with the Troyettes

'Night Out with the Troyettes' is the very last drill team performance where the girls showcase all this year's routines. The 'Mini Troyettes' also perform. All week after school, the girlzies gathered young girls by ages and taught them a one minute dance routine. They were so cute.

I've posted a bazillion pix of the drill team dances, so here's one pic from each dance.

Intro. This dance is fun because each girl's name is announced during the song and that girl dances unique 6 counts of their choice.

After all the Troyettes & Mini Troyettes perform, the drill coach then introduces each Troyette. They are escorted by a handsome male - daddy, brother, friend.

Isn't Karlee darling in this dress? There's quite a story about the dress. I bought it on clearance last fall for only like $8 hoping that a)it would fit and b)Karlee would like it. BUT Daddy said it was too short. Sooo...after many hours, alotta dollars, and almost giving up to shop for another dress, I altered it. I added the brown ruffle on the top & bottom - sounds simple, I know, but it was rather painful! Daddy was happy, Karlee was happy, & I was happy I got it done in time & to every one's approval. She and I both got SO many compliments on it too! It was fun!

After the intro of all the Troyettes, we all gather on the floor to take a bazillion more pix. This is a real bittersweet night for the Seniors, and a lot of tears were shed.

This is one of my favorite pix I have taken. These are the seniors. Clockwise from L: Chrissy, Karlie, Kylie, Rachel & Nikki. These girls are beautiful and wonderful. We will definitely miss them next year!
