Health Support Group

Karlee made some great friendships this year in school, one being the Health Support Group (as they've termed themselves). These kids all had Health class together and ended up having WAY too much fun in class. Karlee came home with crazy stories such as when they all gathered around the Resusci-Annie they were learning CPR on. They couldn't do CPR right. They gathered a dandelion bouquet for her, encircled her, held hands, and bowed their heads in mourning. All right in the middle of class! Crazy kids! This silly group of kids really bonded and made plans to continue their "support group" through the summer! We started it tonight with dinner, trust-building games, and a movie. SO MUCH FUN!

Nummy desserts...

Gotta love the Pop Rocks!

Ball Toss. This was fun because they had to toss the ball in an organized manner. Once they established the pattern, a 2nd ball was added, then a 3rd!

Blind Organization. The kids kept their eyes closed and were not allowed to talk (supposedly). They had to organize themselves from shortest to tallest.

Yup...Morgan's taller then Damon

They did it!

Willow in the Wind. Michael is the willow, being "blown" around in the wind. He ended up falling because the girls were laughing too hard to hold him up!

Walk the Plank. The kids had to walk across the driveway while standing on planks of wood. They pass forward one board while sharing another in a single line. They each started out with their own plank.

Oops...I think they might have spaced them a tad too far!

BUT before they knew it, they were down to 4 planks...

Then they were down to only 3... Needless to say, they didn't make it across the driveway!

Mega Mind Movie Time. (I had no idea our couch would fit 5 full-size teenagers!) L to R: Michael, Morgan, Jessica, Karlee, & Damon. But they fit & pretty much watched the whole movie like this!

It was a blast being around these awesome teens! I am so grateful the kids would let me be involved, let me help with the games, and of course let me take these fun pix!
