It is so hard to believe that today was actually Elder Taylor Mark Perry's farewell. He got his call in June and it seemed like we had forever until we had to say goodbye to him. Today got here fast! Taylor did a fantastic job at the podium, bringing tears to our eyes - especially to his parents with the compliments and love he expressed. He is a great kid!
On Wednesday he heads off to the Provo MTC for an undetermined amount of time until he flies to Brazil - darn VISAs!!! He was originally going to fly straight to the Sao Paulo Brazil MTC. Oh well. This is fun. Now this cute little daughter of mine can mail packages and goodies to him in Provo. (Karlee plans to have a package sent to him on his first day there!!!)
We are really going to miss this handsome young man in our home and in our lives. It has been fun getting to know Mark & Lisa's son. They have done a great job raising him and I am positive he'll make an effective missionary.
