Jeff...

Well, this week brought an unexpected hospital stay for Jeff. Sunday we thought he might be trying to pass a kidney stone. Monday he didn't improve and became feverish with a sore throat. Tuesday we saw Dr. Sutherland. Jeff tested negative for strep throat, but had a CT scan done because of a possible appendicitis. The CT scan showed no issues with the appendix, but a probable infection in one of the cysts on Jeff's kidneys. Long story short, Jeff spent the night in the hospital for fluids, antibiotics, & lab work.

Uncle Paul & his friend, Cody, came to give Jeff a blessing late Tuesday night. Thank you, Uncle Paul - we love you!

Jeff came home Wednesday morning. The abdominal pain was gone, but he still had the SEVERE sore throat. It was all but impossible to get him to drink enough to keep his kidneys hydrated...but I did!

Mr. Peach thought he would help nurse Jeff back to health too.

Little by little, Jeff started feeling better. He still has a sore throat, but at least he is eating and drinking now - albeit not very much. Thank you, everyone, for your concern. Your phone calls, texts, and prayers have helped immensely!
